Linux

Install using .msi installer

After downloading, doubleclick the file and go through the install wizard to install HighFlux on your system.

macOS

Install from a .deb package Recommended

This is the recommended option for Debian and Ubuntu.

After downloading, run

sudo apt install ./

Install from archive file (.tar.gz) Alternative

Archive file for any Linux distribution

After downloading, run

tar -xvzf ./  

cd ./highflux-  

Install using Homebrew Recommended

This is the recommended way to install HighFlux on macOS.

brew tap wip-tech/wip

brew install highflux

Install from .dmg file Alternative

Download a dmg file and install from there:

After downloading, click the file and install HighFlux to your Applications folder.

To use hf from the command-line add /Applications/highflux.app/Contents/MacOS/ to your path.

Running HighFlux after installation

Run

highflux

or doubleclick the icon in your launcher to start the HighFlux app. It will guide you through adding your first git repository.
